House Party

House Party is a little more difficult than the websites I've spoken about in the past. I've only gotten into four parties in the past year but the packages are remarkable!

           

It's easy to sign up, just head over to http://www.houseparty.com and set up a profile! Then head over to find house party and apply for the parties that you find appealing! Don't forget to check out the Chatterbox parties too! They will contact you and let you know if you were picked or not. If you are picked, you need to pick a party date and as fast as you can send 10 email invites to your party! Once that's done expect to get a generous package at your doorstep shortly! 

When you get your package prepared to be impressed! They send a generous amount of goodies so you can have a fun party. After your party, you and your guests will receive a survey to fill out which is real simple. Also make sure to login and complete a few tasks like uploading some pictures from the party and leave some comments. That's all you have to do! If it takes a bit long for you to get approved for a party don't lose hope! 

        

Smiley360

One of the first freebie sites that I signed up to was Smiley360 and it is one of my favorites! It's consistent and they send a variety of products to sample so it's never boring. Dont miss out on this awesome website!

            

Head over to https://smiley.socialmedialink.com and set up your profile, it's as simple as that! Once you're signed up, they're very good at emailing notifications when a new mission is available. Once a new mission is available, log on and take the quick survey, at the end of the survey they will let you know if you have qualified. If you have, just rush to your dashboard to accept and get excited because you're package is on its way! 

                 

Almost always they send full size products, if not than they send coupons for them. Once you've gotten a chance to try the product out, login and complete a few simple sharing tasks, like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. They give you a very generous amount of time to complete them and have a great points system. They give you a wide range of activities to choose from to earn points. Smiley360 is a top freebie website and I highly recommend it. On top of all the great missions I've gotten in the past year I'm currently waiting for three more! OxiClean Washing Machine Cleaner, another Purina One dog food mission and a Sleep Number mission, where im getting a pillow that retails for $90!!! What are you waiting for? Purex Insiders Program

The Purex Insiders Program has got to be my favorite program out there. I've been signed up for a year and every promotion I apply to I get accepted into! Not only are the chances of getting into a promotion great for everyone but they are outrageously generous with what they send! I do have to say that if you don't enjoy giving feedback or posting to social media regarding your review this might not be the program for you. Read below and see if this program is right for you! 

The tricky part is getting accepted into the program. Go to http://www.purexinsiders.com and sign up. They will get back to you if you are in, but keep in mind you must have a blog to get accepted! Sometimes it may take a day to hear back sometimes a couple of weeks, just keep your eyes open for that email! Once you're accepted just take the surveys for the promotions available. Every Friday they send out an email with a run down of what promotions are open, what events are coming up, deadlines and even a blog of the week! Also don't wait on a reply on whether or not you have been accepted into the promotion they don't notify you. Instead during the weekly email they will have a link to the list of Insiders who will be receiving a package. 

So what do you get in your package? I've gotten detergent, laundry scent enhancers, hand soap, body wash, dryer sheets. But not only do you get a FULL SIZE product but you also receive three coupons for free products! In return, they do recommend to have a giveaway for the coupons, I always do and gift two of the three coupons to the winners. Once you've tried the product and had your giveaway, post to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and write a blog post. After you have reviewed and posted to your liking go on the website and complete your report. This will just include a lot of copying and pasting links from your posts. Once that's done, that's it enjoy the remainder of your product and get excited for your next promotion! Here's just a few of the awesome promotions I've received.

            

            

PinchMe

Here is a website that can be a hit or a miss. I really have a love hate relationship with this specific website. When I signed up a year ago I was getting amazing samples but now it's gotten practically impossible to even receive one! I really hope they get their shit together because it use to be one of my favorites! I even received an email before the last launch letting me know I have the option to pay to get early access, which makes me even more mad! With how mediocre the samples have gotten I would never pay! I figured I'd let you all know about this site even though I've been upset with them, hoping it'll get better.

Its really simple to sign up, just go to their website: https://www.pinchme.com and sign up! They do ask for a cell number but that's just to verify, they send you a code through text message. I think they do that just to make sure you don't make another account. 

The way this website works is a bit of a pain in the ass. They launch new samples once a month on a Tuesday at 12:00 P.M. EST. If you login you'll see the next date that they will have samples available. Make sure to login at noon on the dot!! Either they have a very limited amount of samples or a shitload of subscribers because boy do those things go quick! And now that they are giving early access to those who pay its harder than ever! Last time most of the samples were gone before 12. When I logged in all I had waiting for me was a baggy of Gevalia coffee, which I've gotten multiple time from them and a few different brands of sugar packets, that's no fun. I was so disappointed that I didn't even order my box, I thought it would be a waste of postage. When I signed up a year ago I was getting full size nail polishes and now I'm getting packets of sugar, isn't that hilarious? I still do have hope for PinchMe, that's why I'm including them in my blog. So I do recommend signing up and giving them a shot. Here's a few pictures of my previous boxes.

  

         

       

L'OREAL USA Consumer Participation Panel

The Loreal USA Consumer Participation is one of my favorite ways to get freebies. So much so that I was hesitant to reveal this little secret! Not only do you get to test upcoming makeup products and share your opinion but you get a handsome reward after the study is complete!

How do I sign up you ask? Head over to https://consumertesting.lorealusa.com and sign up. Within a few days they will contact you via email with your unique user id and password. 

To answer your next question, how does it work? I personally login at least twice a day and check my dashboard for new surveys. If you happen to have a survey make sure to complete it and honestly. At the end of the survey or midway they will let you know if you qualify or not. If not don't worry there are more surveys to come! If you do get accepted they will fill you in on the rest of the study. They will also let you know when your study begins, in which case you'll receive your study products in the mail before then. But wait there's more! Once you've completed your study all you have to do is take a ten minute survey and you're done! Not only that but in two weeks you'll come home to a nice compensation prize for completing the study! These thank you gifts include Loreal, Maybelline, Lancôme, etc products, it doesn't get any better than that!

Now there are a few upsetting factors when it comes to this specific site. It may take a pretty long time to finally get into one and then once you have it may take a long time for your next. I've been signed up for a year and have only gotten four studies myself. Just don't give up because it is so worth it when you finally get in on one, believe me! One of my all time favorite promotions is definitely the Physicians Formula Freebie Friday! About once a month they have a sort of giveaway, where they select around 500 lucky beauties to win their newest, hottest beauty products. I've been entering for almost a year and have won about 6 products, ranging from mascara to concealer to blush. Why Free Is For Me!

If you love all things free, you've come to the right place! I began my freebie journey in January of last year and quickly learned where, what, how and when but it was a struggle! I remember seeing ads on Facebook all the time on getting free stuff but I was always skeptical and thought it was a scam. One day I decided to check it out and it has been love ever since! Unfortunately I didn't have any guidance or advice so I had to learn for myself. This is why I've decided to start a blog dedicated to tips, tricks and all things freebies.

Although there are so many amazing freebie related websites there are also a bunch of scam websites so the first bit of advice is BE CAREFUL!! The first red flag when signing up to a freebie website is if they have a shitload of irrelevant questions, almost like ads. They ask questions such as: do you have auto insurance, do you have diabetes, websites that ask these questions are a big no no! When I started I was signing up to anything and everything without even thinking about it and caught on quick to the good, the bad and the ugly. Basically, if a website is going to take you to a bunch of other websites in the process or ask you spam related questions don't bother!

I never realized how large the freebie/ coupon community really is, until I started an Instagram account dedicated to just that. If you go on Instagram and search #freebies, #freesamples, etc you will quickly find other people with the same interests and it is both helpful and fun! Also I reccomend following FreebieShark on Instagram because he announces freebies the second they become available! There are tons of other accounts just like FreebieShark, but his is my favorite!

Some of the reasons why freebies are so much fun are its like Christmas everyday, you get to try products before purchasing them, and because if you get doubles or something you don't use, they make for great gift bags! Like I said before, when I started I was literally ordering everything and anything! I didn't care if it was something ridiculous like adult diapers or just stuff I didn't need like baby formulas, I had to have it! I've calmed down a lot because I've realized that just because something is free doesn't mean it's neccessary, let's not be greedy! Also just a heads up, if you're just starting be prepared to wait anywhere from 4-6 weeks for stuff to start coming in. Don't worry before you know it, your mailbox won't be empty ever again!

Something I've realized in the past year is that there are two different types of freebie websites.

- Random Freebie Sites: These are websites that will keep you posted on daily freebies the second they become available. A lot of companies will have promotional events were they will send out a limited amount of samples for us the consumers to try out, these freebies usually go quick so time is of the essence! These websites also will alert you of any giveaways or sweepstakes. There are hundreds of these types of websites but my personal favorites are FreebieShark, Vonbeau, and Hunt4Freebies.

- Campaign/ Mission Freebie Sites: These websites are my absolute favorites and require a little bit of work but it's totally worth it! With these websites you create a profile and take surveys and get picked to participate in samplings, missions and campaigns. You usually receive full size products to try in these situations! Also if you are one of the lucky people to partake you will most likely have to complete tasks and surveys, either reviewing or promoting the product. In most cases the "assignments" are fun and simple so don't be afraid. Some examples of these include Influenster, BzzAgent, Smiley360, and PinchMe.

All in all, if you do it right and play it smart, it's tons of fun! I've probably gotten thousands of dollars in free products to try out just in the past year alone! It has ranged from magazines to food to makeup, there really is no limit to what you can get free! My main goal of this blog is to discuss my favorite websites, on how they work and how to sign up. I will also occassionally post random freebie opportunities if I manage to see them in time! I hope this blog will be helpful and feel free to ask me any questions in the comments below!
